'No Life Like This Again' : An Illustration Series
"No Life Like This Again" is a mixed media traditional art series celebrating the depth and temporary nature of the human experience. Each piece is inspired by the artist's own life, showcasing the beauty of nature and music intertwined with the complexities of our emotions. The series is an adventure through the various aspects of life, ranging from topics of personal strength, rebirth, dreams, and feelings of peace.
The series explores a variety of mediums, including ink as the primary medium, used alongside colored pencils, gouache, and metallic foils. As part of the series, the artist also chose to highlight the behind-the-scenes process of creating art by sharing various work-in-progress sketches.
Art Nouveau Princesses
As a part of the "No Life Like This Again" series, the artist set out to help inspire young creatives to pursue their artistic talents.
As a continuation of a previous collaboration with Olivia Grace & Company, a non-profit princess and superhero party performers group, ANR Illustrations conceptualized and created 3 additional illustrations inspired by beloved princesses. These illustrations were showcased during a Free Comic Book Day event in 2024, where attendees were able to talk with art students, alumni, and working professionals about what it's like being an artist. ANR Illustrations also hosted a free mini-workshop to teach children (and adults alike) how to illustrate some of their favorite characters.
